Masaaki MATSUURA

BIOGRAPHYMasaaki MATSUURA grew up in Ehime prefecture. After completing his high school education in his hometown, he moved to Tokyo to become an actor.
Mr. Matsuura passed the patent bar examination in 2011 and was registered to practice before the Japan Patent Office in 2012. He has been working for IP law firms in Japan ever since and gained extensive domestic patent procurement experience in the automotive and mechanical arts.
Mr. Matsuura strives to build a trusted relationship with his clients through superior service. He respects his client's thoughts and feelings about their invention and works from the client's perspective.

PRACTICE AREASMr. Matsuura is a certified patent attorney who specializes in affairs related to Intellectual Property rights. He has done work in the areas of prosecution, prior art searches, appeals and litigation related to patents particularly in the areas of machinery and electrical control technology.
